Families supported by Bridge Sponsors are making it possible for siblings to remain together in a familiar family and cultural setting, and are actively participating in family and trauma education in their moves toward independence.

Families Like Yours
They love their children. They work hard to put food on the table. They have hopes and dreams for the future. They overcome adversity. But for many of these sweet families, isolation is making it extremely difficult to get ahead. Your sponsorship helps keep families safely together.
The personal dignity of the families we serve is a top value for us. While there may be times you have contact with a family represented by one or more of these sponsorship profiles, it is not our policy to provide access to the families without an express request first coming from that family's primary contact person.
Each family is unique in its needs and makeup. Some families are experiencing heightened crises (fleeing domestic violence). Some have a greater number of children. Some have histories that increase their support needs (pregnant foster youth, trafficking survivor, etc.). Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach to caring for these families, we've broken them into groups based on the unique needs of each family.
We celebrate! For a family to move from crisis to stability to independence is our prayer from Day 1. When a family rolls off our roster, one of our waiting families immediately rolls on and is able to be cared for by your continued sponsorship.
Your faithful monthly sponsorship is providing both material resources like diapers or formula or pajamas, shoes, or clothing, as well as educational resources to help equip families impacted by trauma with the skills they need to move successfully from crisis to lasting independence. In most cases, you're also providing opportunities for the immaterial resource of connection with a caring faith community.
No cash is provided to the family. Any monetary funding provided in sponsorship of a family is managed by ECHO's finance team and goes to provide for the basic needs that family is experiencing (things like diapers, formula, bedding) and the educational opportunities provided to help them heal and progress toward their goals.
