Our
Mission
What Drives Us
Simply stated, the example of Jesus to care for the marginalized, the overlooked, and the forgotten is what motivates our work every day. Our mission is fueled by this.
Our mission is simple, too:
We work to care for isolated families to bring stability and connection and to eliminate the need for foster care interventions.
Imagine If...
What if every family in Coastal Virginia was so well connected to a caring community that they never needed foster care interventions?
That's our vision and we're inviting you to join us.
It's lofty and it's going to take some time, but we believe it's possible and we'll fight for it every day, until every child knows the stability of a lasting, loving family.
How We Do It
Partnerships
We're all about building community and that starts with our partners. We collaborate with local child-serving agencies, churches and other community organizations and businesses to help meet the needs of families.
Programs
Our programs are designed to meet the practical and social needs of the families in our care. From monthly diaper distributions, to home and car repairs, and trauma competencies, our goal is to provide resources that bring families stability and connection.
